1.   Mount Stanley – The Highest Peak

With an elevation of 5,109 meters, Mount Stanley is the tallest massif in the Rwenzori Range and the third-highest mountain in Africa, after Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya. It straddles the border between Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. With Margherita as the highest peak, Stanley is known for its amazing features that include permanent glaciers, steep rock faces, and ice-covered slopes.

Apart from Margherita, Mount Stanley protects other glaciated peaks such as Alexander, Albert, Savoia, and Elena peak.
